Tuomas Taruvuori, a recent graduate of Laurea UAS Service Innovation and Design Master's program, contributes to the highly topical discussion of customer experience design in the promotion of holistic wellbeing with his newly published thesis Designing Experiences in Preventive Healthcare – CASE: Neosmart Health. The work is grounded on human-centered design and service innovation, and explores experience design through economic value, customer-dominant logic, and service marketing and management. The creditable work provides both academic and practical value to multiple actors within preventive healthcare. Importantly, Taruvuori's thesis contributes to the paradigm shift from reactive to a more personalized and preventive approach in healthcare by the application of human-centered design.
