Final report of Open Science Policy Platform published

The final report of the EU Open Science Policy Forum (OSPP) 'Progress on Open Science: Towards a Shared Research Knowledge System' has been published.

The report provides an overview of the four-year mandate of the OSPP from 2016 to 2020, as well as an update on the progress by each stakeholder group over the last two years with regards to the European Commission's eight open science objectives (OSPP Recommendations). The report also presents the follow-up measures proposed by the stakeholder groups as well as possible obstacles to the development of open science. In the report, a group of 25 key stakeholders sets out its vision beyond Open Science to create a shared research knowledge system by 2030.

Laurea Director Tuija Hirvikoski has been a member of the OSPP expert group for four years at the request of Carlos Moedas, former EU Commissioner for Science and Innovation.
